Attorney - Lisa A Cross
Lisa Cross' practice has primarily focused on the defense of professional liability litigation and healthcare law specifically related to allegations of medical negligence and compliance with federal and state statutes and administrative law. Over her 20 year career, Lisa has regularly counseled hospitals, and healthcare systems, as well as individual physicians, their groups and insurance carriers on issues of medical malpractice, wrongful death, peer review, staff privileges and general liability related to contract disputes, premises liability unfair business competition and breach of fiduciary duty.
As a result of Lisa's support and long-time affiliation with both the Southern California and American Society of Hospital and Healthcare Risk Managers, she has been the go to person for a large number of risk managers and safety officers at hospitals, skilled nursing, assisted living and senior living facilities with regard to allegations of elder and dependent adult abuse and the associated claims of reckless neglect, intentional torts, statutory causes of action followed by demands for monetary damages outside the usual insurance coverage held by such facilities.
