Alexander Watson is a 16 year professional liability and business litigator with a wealth of expertise and experience in complex litigation in State and Federal Courts, with a focus and emphasis in medical malpractice defense, elder abuse litigation and health care litigation. Over the years, he has represented a variety of individual and corporate clients, including governmental entities, hospitals, manufacturers, individual physicians, police departments, group practices, insurance companies, and small and large businesses. He has litigated matters involving allegations of insurance bad faith, construction defects, products liability, breach of contract, multi-party business contract disputes, civil rights infringement/excessive force allegations, defamation claims, fraud, legal malpractice and as previously mentioned, claims of medical malpractice, elder and dependent adult abuse.
Alex is an accomplished trial lawyer, recently sharing six weeks of trial duties with Partner, Stephen Fraser, in obtaining a defense verdict in the highly publicized wrongful death trial brought by the family of late actor John Ritter. The demand in this case was a whopping $67 million.
