Pamela A. Benben specializes in trying complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases before juries, judges and arbitrators. With some 35 trials as lead counsel to her credit, Pam has gained the respect of her Southern California peers and earned membership to the esteemed American Board of Trial Advocates.
Pam's 27 year career, her extensive knowledge of medicine, thoroughness and insight make her the go to lawyer in defending high exposure cases of obstetrical and pediatric injury, as well as highly publicized medical/legal litigation, such as the wrongful death suit brought by actor John Ritter's family or the medical negligence case brought by the Tonight Show sidekick, Ed McMahon. Pam's practice also includes elder and dependent adult abuse, legal malpractice, personal injury related to motor vehicle accidents, allegations of unfair competition and business practices among healthcare providers, wrongful death and allegations of wrongful termination.
Pam regularly counsels clients in healthcare industry including: healthcare ancillary service providers, hospitals, physicians, physician groups, and insurance carriers, such as Adventist Health, Catholic Healthcare West, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Farmers Insurance, Regents of the University of California, Healthcare Partners, Optima Healthcare Insurance Services, UCLA Medical Center, Octagon/Sedgwick Claims Management Services and Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
As a Partner in the Firm, Pam is also responsible as an educator and supervisor of other lawyers and staff
throughout the three Firm locations in the areas of medicine and related laws.

Presentations
Multiple presentations over the years to members of the medical staff, nursing and groups on current trends in litigation, problems and pitfalls in prevention of lawsuits and compliance with State and Federal Regulations. Recently, Pam was the keynote speaker, Traynor Lecture, at the annual meeting of the California Association of Emergency Physicians.
